On the one hand, the government is making agreements to get a loan from the International Financial Institution to deal with the country’s economic situation, on the other hand, the Punjab government has decided to buy vehicles for the parliamentary secretaries nominated by the Muslim League.

According to the sources, the Punjab government has decided to purchase luxury vehicles for the Parliamentary Secretaries nominated by the PML-N, for which a formal application has been made.

Sources say that the Punjab government has decided to buy 76 vehicles for the parliamentary secretaries and officers nominated by the Muslim League-N, whose value is estimated to be 61.24 million rupees. 20 luxury vehicles will be purchased for the Parliamentary Secretary at a cost of Rs 22 crore.

According to the sources, it has been decided to buy 15 expensive vehicles for the officers of the Services and General Administration Department (S&GAD) whose price is estimated to be Rs. 9.96 million. 2 luxury vehicles will be purchased for the protocol of S&GAD which is estimated to be worth Rs 3 crore 61 lakh.

Sources say that it has been decided to buy 30 luxury vehicles for the protocol of provincial ministers, the value of which is said to be 209 million rupees. It should be noted that the request to buy 76 luxury vehicles worth Rs 61.24 crore was given by the Additional Chief Secretary Punjab.

It should be remembered that the Sindh government also decided to buy luxury vehicles for the assistant commissioners appointed in their province, for which the General Administration Department wrote a letter to the Finance Department to release 2 billion rupees. The Sindh government had decided to purchase 138 four-by-four double cabin vehicles for the Assistant Commissioner, which is estimated to cost more than Rs 1 crore.
