Punjab Police arrested 212 people in operations to prevent smog.
According to CCPO Lahore, 8 accused were arrested for burning fuel, tar coal and carbon board.CCPO Lahore has also informed that assistance is being provided to the concerned departments for violations of environmental laws.
Parks, recreation centers, museums closed for 10 days in Punjab
Due to the alarming situation, the Punjab government has closed parks, entertainment centers and museums for 10 days from today.
A notification has been issued in this regard.
According to the notification, this ban will be in effect from November 8 to November 17.
